Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of services provided by Privatärztliche Verrechnungsstelle Westfalen-Süd rkV ("PVS Westfalen-Süd") to partner medical practices, including private physician billing, receivables management, and factoring, as well as use of our public website.

2. Services provided

Subject to a separate service agreement with each partner practice, we provide:

• Preparation and issuance of GOÄ / GOZ-compliant invoices on behalf of the practice
• Active management of outstanding receivables, including staged reminders and, where necessary, legal escalation
• Optional factoring of eligible receivables, subject to individually agreed terms

3. Practice obligations

Partner practices are responsible for providing accurate and timely treatment data. We are not liable for delays or billing errors resulting from incomplete or incorrect data supplied to us.

4. Fees

Fees for billing, receivables management, and factoring services are set out in the individual service agreement signed with each practice and are not published on this website.

5. Liability

We exercise professional care in coding, invoicing, and collections. Our liability for damages is limited to cases of intent or gross negligence, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat patient and practice data as confidential and to process it only in accordance with applicable data-protection law and our Privacy Policy.

7. Term and termination

Service agreements with partner practices remain in effect until terminated in accordance with the terms of the individual agreement, subject to any agreed notice period.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Unna.
